Just jailed a Anschutz MSR RX22 Blackhawk

Haven't heard of this until I handled one today. Appears to be quite well built, with an Anschutz precision match barrel and adjustable trigger. I googled around and found that ISSC made a similar rifle named MK22 that had some bad reviews. I'm hoping the Anschutz version is much improved. Anyone shot one before?

Also, I'm having difficulty finding 10 round mags online. Anyone know where to buy 10 rounders?

I have owned and used Anschutz rifles since 1974, and you will not regret your purchase.

As far as finding 10 round magazines, I have found them on ebay for reasonable prices.

Just did a search and it doesn't seem like anyone on here has discussed this rifle much.

I own centerfire rifles but this is my first .22lr. Yeah, what a time to be getting into .22 since ammo is hard to come by.

What's considered a decent .22lr practice ammo? Would lead round nose be okay or should I be looking for jacketed ammo? Thanks in advance!

Look for exotic 22lr boxes, it takes a while to find the perfect batch and even lot number. You can get that thing to shoot into thw same hole at 100meters

            Just shoot it...

You may need heavier 40gr faster rounds to cycle properly. I would just try all kinds and see what works best. My gun shoots 1/2 inch at 100yds with cheap wallyworld hp's.

I'll be picking it up in the next couple of days and will definitely post a range report once I've had a chance to shoot it.

Thanks for the tip on ammo mrrabbit. I managed to pick up some CCI standard velocity rounds and bought a couple of boxes of Winchester M-22s and will post back to this thread on how the rifle does with these.
