Just great! I bought four 500 round boxes last weekend and promptly dumped them all in to an ammo can and threw the boxes in the trash. And trash day was today! I guess I can take a random sample and check for bullet looseness?

They are not nicknamed "Thunderturds" for no reason. Everyone i know who has ever shot the say they suck, myself included.

I've never shot them but was compelled to buy them at $19.95 per box.

Ugh, I just shot them for the 1st time this past weekend. They really crapped up my gun (lots of lead fouling/pitting) and had a few FTF. I only got them during the crazy ammo shortage and now I regret buying them (should just stick to shooting my federal bulks). What to do w/ 1000 rounds I won't shoot =(

I didn't see the other post, so thanks for posting. I have a couple of bulk packs at home I need to check.

            Thanks again for the post.
            Sorry, not sorry.

By the way the recall if for improper crimping of the case to bullet interface not the leading that they appear to cause in a lot of firearms. Inferior manufacuring or material is the cause of that as there are plenty of other lead round nose .22lr ammo that does not cause this leading problem, CCI, Wolf, Sk, Eley, Aguila, Centurion, American Eagle (Federal) just to name a few. Like the plague, Thunderbolts should be avoided at all cost. Maybe then Remington will quit making them.

but there is a fan base bandwagon out there that keeps buying their crap thunderturd and goldlessboolit 22's. if the ammo was much much cheaper than the fed/win/cci, i'd understand but it actually costs a bit more wtf??

The golden bullets that I have bought shoot great in my 522 viper, mp15-22 and m&p 22. Not sure where their bad rap came from.

The Lot marking inside the small box flap is very difficult to read. It's lightly embossed, not printed like in the recall notice pics.

Mine has two lines, with the top one starting with an "R0" something, and then "12" something under it. That's all I can make out. I guess mine are OK?

By far the worse ammo I have ever used. FTF, stove pipes, etc..
