GSG 522 lightweight question?

So I just bought this yesterday (started DROS)http://www.impactguns.com/gsg-german...px?mode=review from a local Big 5 and as I am looking at reviews online I notice that the OAL is listed as 33 inches.
I am aware that legal OAL for a rimfire rifle in the PRK is 26 inches.
My question is if the manufacturer measures the length with the stock fully extended and if so what would the OAL be on this gun if the stock is collapsed?
Big 5 could not possibly sell a rifle in an illegal configuration could they?

Its measured with the stock closed. That's why it has that giant fake ugly suppressor.

And the (soon to be) 14 year old boy who will be getting this for his birthday to shoot likes the giant ugly suppressor...lol
And I like the fact that he will have something for the range that doesn't cost as much to shoot as my other rifles he's taken a liking to!

I have the hk mp5 22 and they are a blast to shoot and quite accurate.

It's legal stop worrying. Barrel is 16.1 in. and with stock collapsed its 27 in. length. Measured one night, when it bothered me.
