10/22 fiber optic front sight

I got one of the Turners 10/22 specials that came out late last year with the fiber optic sights. Turns out the front sight is really fragile. Pulled it out today and noticed it was broken and the fiber optic rod missing. Don't even know where I broke it. I was wondering if anyone else had the same issue. I am used to Ruger parts being overbuilt as it were so this surprised me.

Never had that issue, but I would contact Ruger. I hear they have exceptional service, and if that was at no fault of your own, they should replace it.
