Need Help: Budget Build...
How does a green mountain bull barrel compare to an Elysium (Clark) bull barrel in regards to accuracy?
*JG sales has a hogue stock combo with an Elysium 16" bull barrel for only $140 so it's very tempting.
I'm starting to get into building 10/22's. I recently bought 3 bnib 10/22's and one used. I'm thinking of using the used 10/22 as a first budget build but I don't want to exceed $250 in upgrades including the scope and rings etc. Basically I want this gun to be like Ruger 10/22's Tactical Target model but I want to be smart with my money.
I was also thinking of upgrading the hammer with a Volquartsen but I saw one from Power Custom that was in the same price range.
Any extra input in building my first budget build will be greatly appreciated.
