High Tower Armory Stock Kit Review

I've been looking at bullpup style stock kits for the fun factor for my 10/22. Came across the HTA P90 kit and decided to take the plunge.

Just got it put together and it's a solid stock. The Ruger internals are secured nicely and don't flop around. The ambi charging handle actually works pretty well, but retains the use of my Kidd handle.

It snugly fit my bull barrel, but the included mock suppressor cover won't fit on the 20". That and it looks pretty cheap and plasticky.

There's two safeties on this stock. The standard safety is built into the rear of the stock and functions the same. There's also a trigger safety switch in front that is ok. Not sure why the need for both.

10rd mags are a pain to put in. This really works well with the 25rd mags, but it ruins the aesthetic IMO.

I haven't shot it yet, but the biggest detractor is that you have to fully take it apart to clean it. Blah, not looking forward to that. That's 14 screws, plus the charging handles on both sides.

Trigger isn't bad really. There's a fair bit of pre travel but the trigger is smooth and doesn't seem much heavier.

Here's what it looks like with a cheap BSA RDS on it.

Looks great. Better than the RJF version.

It feels great IMO. It's pretty heavy plastic and a number of the internals are metal (steel or aluminum) like the charging handle. I've got a Kidd bull barrel on it and it feels pretty balanced.
