If I buy a 22lr at my local range/gun shop, can I use the rifle at the Range while I wait the 10 days if I leave gun at store when I'm done at range?

You can do that at Islandview in Ventura! Buy the firearm you want fill the paperwork out and you can shoot it as much as you want during your 10 day just need to turn it back in to the guys when your done.sigpic

I know the waiting period is a cooling off period. It should only apply to first time buyers. If I was that angry at someone I wouldn't go to a gun shop to buy a new gun with bad intentions when I have a safe full at home.Comment

Wrong. The State can deny the transfer on the last day. They have even denied the transfer AFTER it has happened which results in LEO going to your home and ordering you to turn the firearm over.
If you shoot the gun you can bet you loose money if the State denies the transfer.Comment
