Any Bay area shooting ranges that allow 22LR spinners

[daniph]

It's a long shot.. but I wanted to ask and didn't really find any posts about this.

I was hoping to purchase something like one of these to take to a range somewhere hopefully in the bay area.

Does anyone know if any ranges will allow these to be setup at their range for 22LR? Either pistol or rifle at any range up to 50 yds?

USI in Concord does on their multipurpose/members range. Only problem is it isn't open.

Thanks 50 BMGBOB,

I think I see what you mean.

"The range has twenty (20) covered shooting benches, and targets may be set at 25 yards, 50yards, 100 yards, and 200 yards. USI hosts “Members Open” days (20 half- days, and 4 full days) during the year. Any club member may shoot on these scheduled days for $7.00."

The MP range is also open occasionally during the week but not on a regular schedule. If you are there and see the flag up check with the range master to see how long they will stay open. There are a few RSO that shoot there mid week on a hit and miss bases, myself included, and if we are there, all members are welcome to join us.

Also, the dueling tree you posted a link to, I have one. The welds will crack in just a few uses. I rewelded mine and it holds up now. the factory just tacks them and that does hold well. Works good for rifles, targets are on the small size for handguns, at least for me. Not 100% reliable, some times the flags won't flip and occasionally they flip back, but they are fun.
