Where to plink in North Tahoe

Im going up next week to Tahoe for vacation and want to do some plinking with my 10/22 anyone got any recommendations to go near Donner/Truckee area.

On the lake in Tahoe? If so, I'd recommend the Carson city public range

Im actually in truckee donner which is north of the lake I was hoping someone would give me a national forest location. I did see that there is a shooting range at Boca Reservoir which is not too far. that you can use your own targets so that might work as well.

+1 for the carson range. I have been there before. The one north of reno is unfeasable given your location. Dont know about open BLM land, I would call local BLM office

There is supposed to be a gated area near Truckee. I remember reading about it in a calguns thread. Let me see if I can find the thread.
