Hi, everyone. My brother bought me a marlin 795 from AZ. I need to know what i need to do in order to use it on hunting in CA.

Not quite.

Brother to Brother transfers do not fall under Intrafamily Transfers.

If OP's brother is a resident of AZ and OP is a resident of CA. That is an Interstate transfer.

So OP can not just be handed the rifle for 2 reasons. It must go thru and FFL.

OP needs to find an FFL that will accept the rifle from his brother or his brothers FFL and do an interstate transfer.
