    sig 522 trigger

    what do i need to know to replace the trigger? will any AR type work? TIA

    I would guess no, they won't work without lots of engineering...

    I find the stock trigger light and smooth with a fast reset. I don't think I will ever change it... compared to a 10/22 trigger which is the first thing I mod... I think the 522 trigger is fine. Maybe I got a great one, who knows. The only other triggers I like as much out of the box are my Mossberg 500 (weird) and one of my Mosins that probably had someone polish the crap out of everything.

      If you search there's a few threads on other boards about modding the trigger spring lengths and some other mods to get the trigger lighter especially in the "first stage" or take-up.
