10/22 carbine

need some help with recently acquired 10/22. it's a carbine with 18 1/2' barrell.
whats different is that it has a full length mannlicher style walnut stock. would that have been a special order or sumpin? collectable? thanks for any info...captn-tin

It's known as an International, and a nice rifle if you like the style. I have one I bought last summer, BNIB for $350. So, no, most are not a collectable, but fun to own, nonetheless.

carbine vs rifle

i,m aware of the international mdl but only in the rifle form., but i'm talkin carbine. did a short search and it was described as "rare", but did not elaborate.
