10/22 Volquartsen Extractor & Spring Question

For those of you who purchased the 10/22 Volquartsen Extractor & Spring Kit:

Did you use the factory spring with the Volquartsen extractor?

or

Did you use the supplied Volquartsen extra power spring with the Volquartsen extractor?

What worked better? Thanks in advance.

I am running several of them, all with the VQ spring. Save the Ruger one for a spare, just in case.

I currently use the VQ spring. I've used both & have never had an extraction issue. Hammer springs are another story.

I run the VQ Extractor+stock springs in my Ruger MKIII 22/45 pistol. Runs great, each and every time.

Sorry, I don't have a 10/22. Simply not a fan of it.

Aw, that's OK. I have Buck Marks, because I'm not a fan of the Ruger MK III.
