    Charger in CA - Not

How sexy is this? Charger stock on 10 22. No, it's not an SBR measures out at 27.5 inches and uses the standard Ruger barrel of 18.5 inches. Found the stock on ebay, seems seller can get more if you are interested.

Should be fun to shoot, balance point is at the sling stud.

I've been interested in this for a while, never quite got around to it because I couldn't find a 10/22 donor nor the Ruger factory Charger stock at a good price. Hornet carries stocks & barrels, but cheap they are not. I'm also concerned about legality, but figure this is just a rifle with an odd stock, correct?

Would using a 16" bbl and OAL being under 26" be an issue? A carbon 16" bbl would seem better than the 18.5" type.

A handgun scope such as the Weaver 2.5 to 8X would be neat to use.

Being under 26 would be the issue...using a 16 in barrel is not, as that is the length of a legal barrel. All I have is a legal rifle that has a rather unusual stock. I love the stock look and feel.

If you built a pistol from a 10 22 received that would be illegal, however a 80% received can be built up as a pistol with a 10 inch barrel legally (charger like).

I do have the rail and red dot scope that I just might put on here. With a bipod and sight, it would be neat to use.
