    Got my CMMG upper today!

I've had this lower sitting for 7 years and now it can finally be put to use! Ordered a CMMG dedicated 22 upper on April 12th and it showed up today. Flat top upper, A2 front sight, Stainless bolt.

    Specs:
    High Standard lower
    RRA LPK
    Magpul trigger guard
    Ace M4 SOCOM stock
    Hogue pistol grip
YHM flip up rear sight (temporarily harvested from my other AR)
    CMMG dedicated 22LR upper

I'll have better pictures in a few days. Here's a few quick shots for now.

    Please, calm down.

Looks good. Don't be shocked if it's really fussy about ammo for the first few hundred rounds. There's a sticky thread with some great tips on how to get them running.

        Looks good! They are fun!

Takes a few hundred rounds to a brick to slick up. As mentioned, find sticky, buzz the chamber and keep the rails lubed.

I have the same upper I got from Riflegear couple weeks ago. Great rifle ! mine has been working flawlessly. Not one FTF,FTE..etc. I was actually surprised it worked that good since .22lr conversion are known for having issues.
Mine likes Fed bulk and Remington bulk. have fun !

I was at Bass Pro in Rancho over the weekend and at least on Saturday they had a CMMG 22LR upper in stock. Also another CMMG upper there, I think it was a 5.56 one.

Looks good. I just finished building another .22 dedicated upper with CMMG barrel assembly I bought off of Ebay for $200, a stainless conversion and upper from a Calgunner, and the CMMG chamber for a dedicated .22 barrel. Cost me more than a dedicated upper purchased directly from CMMG, but when I started the project, there weren't any around and I didn't feel like waiting.

My upper looks just like yours. When I took it out, there were a bunch of issues. FTF and FTE. Light hits, etc. I just ordered the TACCOM plug and hopefully that will solve some of the problems. I don't mind debugging something, especially if it's something I've built.

Well, it shoots great. Haven't had a single malfunction after a brick of Federal. I picked up 3 black 10 round BDM mags and they're very nice. I also installed a Badger Tactical Latch, really a must have IMO.

I'll post some groupings next week.
