I will not do business with Dick's after they returned the deposit of all the black rifle customers who placed Christmas orders, because of the panic caused by new town.

They should suffer for years, like S&W did after caving to Clinton. The only way I may do business with them if I know they are losing money with my transaction.

Yes, they do. But like the other user commented, after the New Town shooting, they only sell shotguns & rifles now. No more AR's.

first gun i ever purchased but in black, 17hmr is an amazing and fun round. fast accurate cheap to shoot, its always fun blowing up cans and bottles.
they also have the new savage bmag rifle chambered in 17wsm, based off the 27 caliber concrete hammer nail gun. supposed to be the fastest shooting rimfire. either way i cant see you going wrong. best of luck in your decision making

Well I got the Savage with the green stock but the one I got has the heavy/fluted barrel BUT no accuttrigger.

They also told me it doesn't come with a scope so I showed them the pic on the website and they gave me a scope.

I'm just wondering if they're 2 completely different models. It's just says "Savage Model 93"

Got mine in 17hmr from Big 5 last summer, same model with the Bushnell 3x9. Lots of fun shooting this one.
