    Cz trainers can shoot!

Im just amazed at how this trainer shoots. I had been shooting solid point 40gr ar tactical ammo because I thought it would be more accurate than hp's. The ar tactical ammo shoots good but the winchester 555 36gr hp ammo shoots superb. I can only imagine how high quality match ammo shoots. I love this gun! Even my wife, who is no fan of bolt guns, loves this rifle!

This was a -->10<-- shot group in the wind at -->100yds<--- this past Sunday at the range.

      BURRRNNN!

On another note, where does one find a CZ .22 rifle? I can't find one for the life of me here in Los Angeles.

No "burn" intended John, just joshing with the OP.

An acquaintance bought a CZ .22 at a Brea, CA range, but this was back in Nov-Dec. I'll send him a email asking where, etc. Is Brea close to you John?

I personally had mine ordered from the factory from OC Armory. You could do an online order and have it shipped to your LGS. Seems like the easiest way to get guns these days.

Yeah Brea is right around the corner from me. Must have been from OC Indoor.

That's some nice shooting OP. I've been looking for a CZ455 Varmint Tacticool for a while now. About to give up and go with a Savage MK2. I see some Varmints on GB but I cant justify the extra cost of shipping, FFL, and taxes. I'd much prefer to get one locally.

You could try to go to your FLL and have him personally order it from the factory. It'll cut out the shipping and transfer costs if he does it that way.

The Varmint Tacticool stock seems pretty neat, but it could be easier for you to get a Special Military Trainer or Lux/Ultra lux and drop in a Klinsky stock. Not only will it increase the weight a bit making the rifle more stable, but it is a great benchrest shooting platform and uses similar accessories as Anshultz.

Thanks for the tip, I'll call my LGS and see if that's possible.

I was mainly looking at the VT model since I wanted to use it as a trainer for my 308.

Side note: I know CZ's are better than Savages but is there anything I'll be truly missing out on if I just go with a MK2?
