    Ruger Take Down barrel block removal

    I posted this on rimfire central but thought I'd ask here too. I'm wanting to bead blast the barrel of my take down. After I've removed the handguard I need to know how to remove the barrel block I've seen the schematic but it doesn't show what I need to do to access the two mounting screws. Can anyone help enlighten me?

    A good rifle build isn't cheap, but a bad one can be expensive!

    I found the answer over at Rimfire Central. Here's the syntax in case anyone was curious, worked like a charm;
    1. Depress the locking plunger using a small screwdriver, or similar tool, held against the flange on the plunger

    2. Push the Locking plunger detent into the barrel block, compressing the spring

    3. This will relieve the pressure on the locking lever, which can then be pulled out

    4. The rest of the plunger parts will follow, allowing access to the mounting screws
