Pac-lite barrel.

I just stumbled onto the Pac-Lite barrel last night, after watching NTF's Vq accurinzing kit install vid on YT.
There's several Pac-Lite's on Gunbroker, however most are 4.5", and IIRC, ALL of 'em are threaded.
Pac-Lite makes a pretty cool muzzle device that I personally wanna have with the barrel anyway, so I'm gonna 'buy' their threaded barrel(-ed receiver) with the compensator already tacked/pinned on from an out of state seller.
If I time it right, it'll be a simple local PPT.Comment

That would be a better route because you can find Buckmarks
for sale at most LGS compared to
waiting for one to do a PPT.Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you,
Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.
One died for your soul; the other for your freedom.

You're ASSuming something that isn't correct.
I've done zillions of PPT's, know what they consist of, and through sheer luck have worked out a scenario where an out of state resident is going to PPT to me the affrementioned barreled receiver, w/compensator pinned/welded onto it.
That's all moot to the topic of this thread however, and the gist of my post was simply to point out that there is a way to legally own a PL barreled receiver that is manufactured with a threaded barrel.
Many Kalifornistanians legally own other 'Pistol' upper receivers that also were manufacturered with threaded barrels, and the path to legally owning a 'threaded' PL receiver is IMO the same as it is to own any Pistol/SB AR upper.Comment

It's not the same, since you can't have a "featureless" AR pistol. The threads on a barrel of an AR pistol are irrelevant due to the magazine location. The problems with the paclite aren't just that it's threaded, you would still need to SSE it.You're ASSuming something that isn't correct.
