    Tactical Solutions

Is it legal to have their trail lite barrels shipped to California?

I know they are threaded for suppressor use, but I'd like to get one and throw their compensator on it.

    No.

I believe you can have TS weld and pin their compensator onto their barrel, though - you have to call them.

Screw TacSol...they're spineless. Way to stick up for those "behind enemy lines" so to speak.

Yes it is. Possession of a threaded barrel is not a crime, in and of, itself.
Installing a threaded barrel in a handgun is the crime, unless the threads are removed or the comp you are installing is permanent. (pinned, welded, etc)
You should be fine provided they will ship it to you.
I've been looking to do the same to my Buckmark, but I just can't justify the $300+ cost for a complete barrel setup. (barrel, comp, scope mount, etc.)

          The following statement is true.
          The preceding statement was false.

Barrels don't need to be on a list. The tactical solutions trail lite is their buckmark barrel. The paclite is the ruger MK series barreled receiver that is difficult to get because it's not on the roster.

The barrel is considered a receiver. You need to do a SSE if you want one here. Good luck.

                  No, it's not.

Trail lite is for the browning buckmark. The barrel is not the receiver.

Pac lite is for the ruger MK series, the barrel comes attached to the receiver.

The OP is asking about the trail lite. You can buy trail lite barrels on midwayusa with no FFL if you want. The OP is asking about the problem of the barrel being threaded... which means he can't install it on his buckmark without getting a muzzle device attached, or cutting the threads off.

Whoops my bad i should have re read I was thinking he was talking about mk1,2,3 not buckmark. Get the barrel add a break and pay a muffler shop 5 dollars to put a tack weld at the 6 o clock position
