Wow, that's a ground up start.

These have always been interesting to me because the controls are better (to me) than the other versions.

What direction will you go with this?

I think he's taking the 22/45 and shaping the grip to the way he wants.

Like Glock stippling to the extreme.

your going to be disapointed with the
adhesion and durability of JB weld
              on the frame.

              Do the grip mod...

              Be happy.

              Question.

              The pic you posted.
Who's is it and is it made from metal?

It's from Volquartsen, made from aluminum.

Wow thats a lot of money considering i paid $200 for my 22/45 new.
There must be a market for this stuff but im not in it. It looks cool but not $415 cool.

Well, if you want something more "custom" and have the ability to buy things like the tacsol uppers, it makes a bit more sense(plus ruger still doesn't just sell 22/45 RP frames).

So I finally got the bushings and installed em with the grips jus to how it'll look. I know I know punisher grips r pretty dorky but its what I have rite now. still gotta paint it n everything. I ordered a volquartsen rail system for it which should be in this Monday. So if everything goes well ill be done with this bad boy by next week.
