I remember paying 18.99 + tax for 2000 rounds at a walmart or something up North, and that was maybe 8-10 years ago.

Just in October of last year, I bought 10 boxes of 525 packs of Fed Champion for $16 each, shipped.

        Hopefully those days will return.

Last summer Dicks sporting good had a sale I jumped on, it was buy 3 boxes get the 4th free, I bought six bricks of blazer bulk and got 2 free at $20 a brick. I should have bought more but I spent my money on duck loads.

I posted this pic on another site a while back. I was re-arranging my ammo and found this way in the back. I bought this after the last shortage from Big 5. The last shortage started at the end of 2008, lasted a little over a year, so that would be around early 2010.

Got the same on sale in Tahoe about that same time for $9.99/ 2 per customer with coupon. Went in and out of the store several times until all my coupons were used up. Still have 4-5 bricks left!

Last year, I sold two bricks of Golden Bullet for $10 each, 550 rounds that I paid $19 each for. It was such crap in my Marlin, that I felt bad even asking half price.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

Wally's price on Fed Bulk & Rem GB Bulk was 8.96/550 rds throughout the 90's and up to 2002. Then it doubled in 2003............... and then stabilized at $19.95ish in 2005 but just kept going up since then..if it can be found at all...which it can't.
Blazers were 9.99/500ct on deals everywhere.
                    Wildcats the same.
But my favorites, Win Dynapoints would go on sale twice a year at Kmart for under 10.00. Per panic these guys were $29.00

Hell, I'm so old I remember buying CCI Mini Mags on regular sale prices of $9.99 /brick in the 80's.
