I got the TR, put a $100 Banner on it for now. Hitting a tennis ball suspended from a string at 100 yards without really trying. I need to find a 200+ yard range for a challenge.

    What scope did you get?

just picked up a MKII FV heavy barrel with the chincy stock. I ordered up a Boyds Tacticool raw stock that I'm going to do up, a DIP bottom metal, DIP 1 piece scope base, new DIP action screws, and I'm going to epoxy bed the whole action, and work over the trigger. My 93R17 trigger is set at 1lb, 2oz and it breaks like glass. I am going to try to get the MKII to be around the same weight. I'm going to try drilling out sections of the stock and adding lead here and there for a solid feel. I want it as heavy as I can get it. It has tactical rings, and a Pentax 8-32x50 scope with the precise-plex reticle which is kind of a varmint reticle. Side focus scope, and surprisingly clear when dialed in to where you're shooting at. 30mm main tube, 50mm objective, and in general going to be a winner for $160 for a rimfire scope with 1/8moa clicks. Should be a good setup.

I have a MK II TR, I've only had it since January and it's now my favorite 22 rifle I own. I got the DIP bottom metal, trigger guard, screws, and one piece base. I topped it off with a Nikon Buckmasters 6-18x40, and if I can do my part golf balls at 100 yards can be hit. I just need to find the ammo it likes best still....pic below.

I have a BTVS in .17hmr and it is a ball to shoot. Looks and feels like it should be much more expensive than it is. Great gun.

I am switching my optics around right now, but here's my .17hmr BTVS just to tease you.

Thank you sir. I'm going to grab a Mueller APV or APT in silver and match it up on top of it. I've been wanting a reason to get a 1 piece base as well. Should be a nice shooter again when I get it set up. It was shooting 3-5 shots into a nickel all day at 100 with Hornady ammo.

I thought tat was the bsev. the btvs has a standard bull barrel I think. I've seen those though they're nice but flashy.
