    ATI Omni 22 AR

Does anyone have experience with these? I went to Turners today and saw one on sale, says you can swap the upper for a 5.56 as the lower is marked "multi cal." It's $450 and the CMMG 22 uppers, and others like it I have seen usually run for more than that. Polymer upper and lower, but still looks cool. I have the Mossberg Tactical 22 but this seems more practical.

    Any thoughts?

I think the upper is from Chiappa which has mixed reviews. It should have real AR parts but plastic. The Mossberg does not use real AR parts. The M&P 15-22 would be the closest thing to it.

Or buy an upper from TACCOM... There is a 3-4 week wait right now I think, but they are amazing.

I am not a fan of polymer lowers used for .223/5.56. How ever my dad owns a smith and wesson mp15-22 that I used to take to the range all the time untill .22lr became expensive to buy. If used for a .22lr it works great, if reliable it should be a great gun espcially if it takes the black dog and cmmg magazines.

The ATI Omni .22LR AR has a STANAG magwell and uses standard .22LR conversion magazines (Black Dog, CMMG, Ceiner, etc).

                        Ouch....

Chiappa isn't known for quality of any kind.

Their .22 M1-Carbine is a fine looking rifle but I just don't think the quality is there.

i have 2 chiappa uppers and both work great and are accurate.

only mod i had to do was remove bolt catch as i was hanging up bolt on 22 upper

paid 300 for first one at costa mesa and 245 for 2nd one from century(cia)
