    10/22 Barrel?

    Hi Guys,

    I need some help identifying a barrel. It's stainless steel, tapered, 18 1/2 inches long and the only marks on it says "Sturm, Ruger & Co Inc, Southport Conn. USA". It does not have any cal markings. I believe it's for a 10/22 but not certain. Can anyone confirm? Thanks in advance for any help!

      Have you tried fitting a 22 cart into the breach? It might be 22lr, 22wmr, .17?

          ^^Yeah, try that. Looks like a factory 10/22 barrel...or a 77/22, depends on the length of the mounting tenon.

              Ok, thanks! A .22 cartridge fits nicely so I believe is is chambered for .22. I just wasn't certain it was for a 10/22. I have a Marlin so am not familiar with Rugers.
