The Winchester Model 77 .22lr was made from 1957 to 1963. It came in a tube feed and an 8 round magazine or clip.
This was my Dad's rifle and my brother and I shot it when we were kids.
I am 56 now and this rifle means a lot to me.
I was at the range Sunday and the second shot went click. I noticed no mark on the rim so I knew I had a firing pin issue. I broke it down to the bcg and beyond. This is a well made pre-64 rifle!
Thank goodness for Midway they have availability for about $30.
Anybody else have one of these?
