Does anyone have overseas feedback on .22lr availability? Just wondering whether our current rimfire drought has had any affect on the European or Australian markets.

It seems to be US phenomenon. I don't know what's happening outside North America but Canadians are just now feeling the pinch. They didn't have the buying frenzy we did but since suppliers are unable to keep up with demand, the Canucks are starting to run low too. Reloaders are in the same dire straits we are. -
Kinda figured as much. Didn't know if other markets would be affected by re-directed shipments. Thought the manufacturers might funnel product to the US market for a higher profit margin. It wouldn't seem right, but it all comes down to the bottom line. I know about the reloading market as well. Luckily, I've got a fair stock on components currently. Should be able to hold out for a while as I'm not a high volume shooter, but I'm always on the lookout for powder and primers. LGS has been getting primers in, but at $50/M I'll hold off and see if the market returns to a more sane level. Powder is another issue. What little powder they are getting in is not what I need.Last edited by korny351; 04-25-2013, 1:50 PM.Comment
