Any leads on .22 Short?

Hey Boys!

I picked up a sweet Beretta 950. Awesome pistol! Late 70's/ early 80's with only a few rounds through it.

However, it's .22 short. Been having a heck of a time finding any. Had some success through CalGuns private ammo sales, but there's a LOT of gouging going on. That being said, anyone seen any .22 short around the Ventura County/ Los Angeles County area? Angeles has a couple boxes: but only selling if you're shooting there and only 1 box (ill be picking one up Thursday!). Any leads on anywhere else?

the only ammo i'm interested in at the moment is CCI CB Longs...i wish could find a source for that...

It's been a few weeks since I"ve seen them at Walmart, but tell you what, I go to Walmart often enough so next time I see some 22 shorts I'll send you a PM.

Called Big 5 on Wilshire and San Vicente two days ago looking for 22lr and said all they had was 22 short. Don't know any prices though.

The Walmart off the 54 in National City had a bunch of Remington 22 short.

I see .22 shorts in just about every decent sized gun shop I go into. Not a real popular round but popular enough that they always seem to have some. I am in NorCal though so things may be different down there.

Also try online. Most places are sold out of LR's but have shorts (assuming you can legally buy ammo online there, I know the laws are kind of weird about online ammo in the Southland)..
