Hey Defcon, that thing looks great, how many of these conversions have you done so far. I am about to do a L 96 I just picked up. It will need some well thought out fabrication but is pretty simple after that. The trick is to get a rifle that has the bolt and the trigger in the right area to fit the stock correctly. Keep up the great work. Oh yeah PM me if you have any tricks I might need to know, thanks

its mainly the quad rail, red dot and the actual action/barrel

Marlin 60 by itself is heavy due to the longer barrel

im building a 3D printer right now and designing my own stocks/handguards via AutoCAD for my .22's.

i have a WELLS G96 which is a longer stock using a Savage MKII F. you might want to look into this stock since it has an aluminum chassis built in. you just need to drill a hole to line up the action screws.

L96 is a smaller stock that doesnt come with a built in monopod.

the stock I have has an aluminum box mounted by the receiver is that what you're calling to Chassis if so mind already has it and it looks easy to just still a hole

defcon is a genius tacticool .22 builder. ive seen some of his toys at the range and they are awesome. he truly is a master at recreating the look of the scary rifle but still blasting a .22lr - another great one!!

i have the standard british hand guard but i wanted a more tacticool version

It looks great! and its a good thing it's heavy, it will help absorb some of the 22's crazy recoil, your shoulder will thank you .

Bad range trip. Had major FTF/FTE issues. Used different ammo and still had issues. Will be checking for feed lip nickle trick and overtightened front action screws, and other common Marlin 60 issues

It extracts fine after I hand load a single bullet.

At least the trigger linkage worked.

Bummer this one has some issues, I doubt it will take you much time to get it sorted. What's next, a railway gun?

You need to do a G11 and a Chubacca crossbow blaster. A Guitar aka Ted Nugent style would be cool too. The guitar might be illegal in CA. I know its illegal to make a case that conceals a firearm and allows you to shoot it, but I don't know if changing the shape of a firearm is illegal.
