    Marvel Precision Zombie edition?

Anybody using the Marvel Precision zombie edition .22LR conversion?

I am not sure if it is a unit 1 or 2 - or if its all show and no go?

    I like my .22a flashy.

    You can see it here:

eh... Not sure why they did that but to each their own...

That is a Unit 2. I have the original Unit 2. I'm having feeding/cycling problems shooting recommended ammo right now so trying to work through that, but when it works, it shoots extremely accurate.

        Check here: cmcgov.com

They don't sell the Marvel kit. I got it from Midway if I remember correctly.

I did get my Glock 17 Advantage Arms kit from this cmcgov website however, and it has been flawlessly running CCI mini-mags, the recommended ammo, plus it has last round lock open.

The Marvel does not lock open on the last round, so after shooting both lock and no lock open variants side by side, I must say I prefer the last round lock open feature. Some guys on forums say that's not really all that important and that you should be practicing counting rounds left anyway... Well, I guess I don't really feel like counting rounds after all...

Advantage Arms kit compared to my Marvel Unit 2 is on par accuracy wise in my hand. Most people say Unit 1 is better because the barrel is locked in place, but then Unit 2 also locks the barrel in place by way of the recoil rod and slide stop, so not sure why one system is better than the other. Only advantage I see that the Unit 1 has is that the part that recoils back is only a part of the slide, so reliability may be better, oh and the sights do not move with the slide like on the Unit 2.
