    DPMS A4 .22 upper

Just picked up one of these since I had an extra lower laying around. Anyone have any experience/knowledge/gripes/recommendations on this before I take it out? All I have is Federal bulk and Winchester M22 so I hope it likes them.
First AR22 so any insight is appreciated.

If its one of the new ones that uses the black dog xform magazines, I have one and I really like it. Shoots tight groups in cross winds with federal 36gr bulk hps. It's a lot of fun to spend a day at the range with, especially with cost. I also like that it feels as heavy as my 5.56 carbine. Magazines are fairly inexpensive and they feel solid.

I did a review on the Bull Barrel model.
Extremely reliable, accurate, ate everything I fed it.

        Designed by my friend Tim.
The bolt is stainless with Melonite coating.

I never had one issue with it.

Turners in Oxnard had it on their wall and I jumped on it.

Same with me. Went to turners on a delivery day and they had 2 behind the counter. Walked out of there a little poorer

I have been waiting for the same upper but Midwayusa sells them faster than fresh baked bread.

I happened to be at the right place and right time when Midway pinged me that they had the AP4 .22 upper in stock a couple of weeks ago. It seems I got the last one they had in that shipment. I probably should have bought a lotto ticket that day too.

Appreciate the feedback. Picked up a few blackdog magazines from Joebob and took her to Oak Tree last week and was hitting every steel target I aimed at, until the sun went down, I think I might get a meprolight front sight. Didn't bother shooting paper since this is just a plinker. This is a fun accurate rifle and I really like the feel and weight. I would recommend this to anyone.
