As a test I got some SUPER expensive match grade ammo to see how good my Takedown could be, one dime-ish sized ragged hole from a bench rest rig at 50 yards! While I never plan to use such expensive ammo nor shoot from a rest with it, I was really surprised at just how accurate they are.
When I got mine back in November I picked up an extra nine mags (like to preload 100 rounds before going to the range), glad I go them then, sounds like they are a bit hard to come by.
Of course what we all really want are BX-25s, but those are just too unsafe for us Californians, so glad I'm protected from owning dangerous things like that!

Congrats! I was lucky enough to find the local Sportsmans Warehouse had about 10 in stock last week and I decided to get one. Still have to wait til next weekend to get it out of jail.Comment

Bought my Takedown from Turner's in Torrance last week. Should be able to pick it up this Saturday. $329 Spring Sale price. Doesn't look like they have low stock, I was told their warehouse had a bunch of them.
As for mags, I bought 2 BX-1 10-round mags from Turner's in Signal Hill today, no problem. $16.99 each. Also ordered 2 Butler Creek Steel Lips 10-round mags from Cabelas for $19.99 each 2 nights ago.Comment

I got mine about 1-2 months ago and like it. Still trying to see which 22LR ammo it likes best though. Federal bulk and Auto-Match seem to be about the same in accuracy right now. Still need to try my CCI Minimags.Comment
