    Looking for marlin 795 magazines

Hi guys. Anybody know where I can pick up some new 10 round magazines for my marlin 795 ?, They seem to be as rare as ammo. If I cant find any I am thinking of trading 22 lr ammo for magazines. Any idea what would be a fair trade ? I last bought 2 magazines from cheaper than dirt for $ 14.99

Those were hard to find even before the current climate. To be honest, I bought all of mine from CTD (before I knew about their reputation) and I paid @ $12 each over a year a good. So $15 today ain't bad.

Back to your question, all the usual places look like they're OOS. So keep checking and be ready to jump on them. By the way ebay has a few at gouge prices.

I bought a couple at Big 5 a while back, but that was before this whole ordeal.

Thanks I bought the Marlin a couple of months ago and have 3 magazines. I bought it because it is cheaper than shooting my Saiga 223. Now my wife really likes the Marlin with the scope that i put on it to shoot at the range. I am not desperate for the magazines, I will hold off for a good price, like the $ 15 range, if not I will wait.

Yeah just keep looking around, most of the usuals are dry. Oh, and subscribe to the mega threads if you're not already, usually somebody will post in there when there is a deal or new stock.

                No worries.

There are two threads with tons and tons of posts and info, hence the "megathread" title.

The current thread is "part duece" here:

                Marlin 795 MEGATHREAD Part Deuce

                Original one here:

                Marlin 795 thread

Both are from the Firearm discussions > Rimfire Firearms sub-forums.
You can subscribe to either or both by
                1. Posting in the thread
                2. At the top of each page: drop down Thread Tools>Subscribe to this Thread

You can adjust your subscription options to send you emails in several ways.
I normally have a weekly email reminder to the threads I have subscribed to.

Hope that helps, if not, let me know.

Oh and IMO you should update your personal info to reflect your county/general area at the least, that way any locals might direct you towards local finds.

I used the notify me option at Midwayusa to buy a few when they had some in stock.

Were they in-stock? I looked just last night and all BassPro had in-stock were 22WMR magazines for the Marlin 25M.

That is a good price, but unfortunately I think I would rather kick my self in the nuts than purchase anything from CTD.
