Got a new Ruger 10/22 Take Down in jail

Found it "on sale" for $329.98 at Turner's in Torrance. They apparently have a few in the warehouse, and they had one on display.

Will be fun to plink with it once .22 ammo is in stock and reasonable again. Will be starting my young daughter on this rifle as well.

Its a great rifle and comes with a cool bag/carry case. While your waiting to get it out of jail you can start thinking of all the upgrades your gonna want to add. Scope, trigger, etc. etc.

Yes, the Takedown is a wonderful rifle. Enjoy. A scope or red dot sight is very nice. I put a Volquartsen trigger group on mine and really like it.

Now the quest for ammo begins. Yeesh, I thought getting 45 ACP was hard enough.

I already looked through the Kidd upgrades site, I might be in trouble now. LOL, I think I'll enjoy the bog stock 22 TD until it starts to feel the upgrade itch...

How does that compare to the Kidd trigger group? I am considering upgrading mine as well.
