Can either the .17 or 22lr cartridge style laser bore sights be used interchangably? I have both rifles and would only like to buy one. The 17HMR is bolt and the 22 is semi. I assume the casing is the same size but the bullet is different. Either way the laser should be centered in the barrel. Correct? Or should I not bother and just shoot both to sight in?

Thats a mighty small bore and with my eyesight It wouldn't be as easy as a laser. Don't have a rifle vice either.Comment
