You can find them on ebay but they are expensive.

I recall just two months ago the magazines listed on ebay were selling for around $35, or MSRP.

What the hell happened?! Seems as though people will pay just about anything for them there and on GB.

Depending on the firearm, I will research mag quality, availability, and price. After all, a semi-auto is nothing but a fancy paperweight or rock if there's no way to load and operate it. In this present post-sandy hook times and knowing that I was absolutely going to buy the firearm, with due diligence and patience I started buying from several sources near and far at $5 over msrp even before I dros'd and was able to pick up my new GSG 1911-22. Boy am I so freekin glad I bought when I did ...and this was just within the past two and a half weeks!!! I saw prices go from $35msrp to the insane eek-bay and other source prices of up to $80 WTF OVER??? I personally think the gsg mag should/could be $25 tops. The average price I paid for the brand-new genuine gsg mags was $39-USD. Was I stupid to pay $5 over msrp for something I think is already $10 too much over msrp? Maybe I was...just as much as I'm crazy and "willing" to pay for some of the asking prices of some ammo for the sheer enjoyment of operating my firearms...but I "have to" pay to play, right? I just hope things settle down so I/we can have as many mags for my/our 1911-22 as I do with my 1911-45 one day. But trust me...I feel the same pain as every other firearms enthusiast out there.
