I bought one from Turners a couple of months ago and I really like it. Comes tricked out just the way I want it, with the FO sight and the nice grip.

The trigger has a fairly heavy double action pull, but it is actually quite mannerly on double action. You can find my range report on it here:
A week or so ago I was whining that I could not hit jack with my SP101 .22 LR shooting Remington "Golden" rounds. For the life of me I could not shoot accurately that afternoon, and for the life of me I do not know what the issue was. Anyway, to be fair I went back to the range today with the...

Missed the opportunity to purchase before the craze and finally bought mine in January but have yet to take the lil bad boy out. DA trigger pull is heavy and thinking about getting a trigger job for it because I want my gf to get used to using this pistol. Ruger revolvers are very reliable so I don't expect any issues with it but read the online reviews about the pistol as there are many reviews by experts. I've listed a few:

I found the stock grips to be a tad too small and my finger didn't feel right on the trigger. I replaced them with Hogue monogrips and it is much more comfortable to shoot now.

Same here, but I went with the Trausch grips on mine. MUCH better than stock.

cnj, may I ask where you were able to find your Trausch grips? I've tried many keyword combos on The Google and have always come up short.

                Muchas gracias.

I dunno. The Trausch website says that those grips are made especially for French women. Think I will stick with the manly original stock grip.

I thought you were joking, until I went to the site:

TJ IOI is official for French police women and some security services in large quantities. Lot of American women also use and appreciate TJ IOI

The SP101 is one of my favorites.
                        I even have the new 4" .357 ^^look up.

I have used both 10# & 12# Wolff hammer springs on mine.
Federal bulk is temperamental with failure to fires.
10# makes a very light double action pull, but you'll want to use different ammo.
I have surplus Remington and some old Wildcat that fires reliably with the lighter springs.
You can do your own trigger job, if you're confident.
                        Spring replacement is very easy.

I hear those grips are especially useful if you want to drop your revolver and surrender. Kind of like those French rifles after WW2: for sale--only dropped once.

All of the silly French jokes aside, the Trausch grips are larger and more hand-filling than the wimpy stock grips. I feel they are better made than the Hogues I tried as well. To find them, I contacted one of the distributors in Missouri, and got a set from them.

I had one and ended up selling it.I liked it though, the stock grip is very small however.I ended up getting a hogue grip to give my pinky a place.Da trigger pull is heavy.
