A new (old) Ruger in the house

As some of you who read my "Mark III Kaboom" post know, I sent my Ruger Mark III back to Ruger after an Out of Battery Event.

Fortunately for me I had not long before DROS'd a Mark II Target. It came home today and looks to be in even better condition than I thought. Field stripped and cleaned it, and it looks almost new inside and out. SN dates it to 1983.

I"m going to have a hard time hanging on to this with my wife and son liking 22's so much. I'm ready for another range trip for some 22 fun.

Always remember to pillage before you burn.

Congrats! I have the same? MKII 6 7/8 Target, it was my first 22LR, she ate everything I fed her, even the Russian Junior 22's.
Still stock, the only problem I had was the pin in the rear sight liked to walk.
Put some blue Loc-Tite on and she's GTG.

It's sad...guns are worse than potato chips or cookies...nobody can stop at just one.
