    Threading a S&W 15/22

I purchased a S&W 15-22 from Turner's and it wasn't threaded. I'd like to have it threaded and put a flash suppressor on it just to dress it up. Does anyone know a shop in or around Orange County that will thread a barrel? I've contract a few and they won't do it, I haven't found anything that says it illegal.

Randell from AR15barrels.com, he's here on the boards.

Part of the problem might be the fact that the S&W 15/22 has a unique upper reciever and needs a special tool to remove and install the barrel. Tacticool22 sells all the parts to remove and install the barrel. He also sells pin on (set screw) muzzle devices.

aren't threaded barrels going to be an AWB "feature" this next time out? Even on 22s?

Pistol grips, collapsible stocks, magazine feed, semi auto, barrel shrouds(handguards), muzzle devices etc etc etc are all apart of some silly AWB. Which is also not really relevant to the OPs question at this time.
