    battlecomp on a 22lr?

Just for fun I put my battlecomp 2.0 on my Sig 522!
I hated it on my M-4...WAY to loud...
Thought I might see what it does for my double taps on the Sig before I dump it lol..

.22LR probably doesn't generate enough gas for the battlecomp to be useful.

As for being loud on a .223... it's a muzzle brake. That's what they do. Muzzle brakes make things louder for the shooter as an inherent trade-off for the benefit of reduced recoil and muzzle flip.

Some competition rimfire shooters use muzzle brakes to increase the sound so that the timer can pick it up.

Battlecomp works for me on my LW AR. Keeps the muzzle flat for controlled follow up shots. I agree it does not do a lot to mitigate sound but it does redirect the muzzle blast more forward as opposed to my JP comp on another rifle which can knock your hat off if your standing to my side. How much do you want for your 2.0 ? PM me I'd interested.
