I am patiently waiting for the waiting period to expire...
Can anyone here help me find any information about it?

Numrich's parts catalog usually has drawings and parts info on older stuff.Don't know if it's available online.

Go over and register on Rimfirecentral.com, they have a Savage/Stevens subforum and if anyone knows anything about it, they will. A wealth of info over there on just about any rimfire firearm. Friendly folks, just ask your questions.
