So I have 2 handguns(9 mm and a .45) and an AR15. We all know how ridiculous are ammo's prices nowadays. I went to my local Turners today and they have Mossberg 22lr for less than 300. I know 22lr ammos are inexpensive as well. What can you say about 22lr rifles(esp this mossberg model)? Are they worth it? Thanks!

I would recommend either a Ruger 10/22 or a S&W M&P 15-22.
Because you already have an AR, you may also want to look at a dedicated .22lr upper (CMMG, etc.). I would recommend avoiding the conversion kits.
-RuskieThe Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed - where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once.
