My first set of peep sights.

Does your rifle have a globe or post front sight? You will like those peep sights better than standard open iron sights.

I have been trying to get a hold of Havalin to order the peep sights for my old Mossberg, but I did receive the Lyman Hawkeye Diopter for my glasses, that will help me see the stock iron sights on my rifles for now. I will be posting some 25 yard irons and I have to work on the 25 yard bench rest pistol, Tim is whippin my @$$ right now. lol

I just installed a tech sights on my 10/22, and they are so much easier to see. I could not see the brass front dot with the stock iron sights to save my life.

At first I thought how could I possible see through that tiny little hole, but man was I wrong.

Haven't shot it yet, but looking through the peep I can definately see a lot better. Nubrun has it right, I never thought I'd be able to use the tiny hole but it makes a huge difference.
I hope to shoot the 25 yrd irons sometime this week and then we'll see.

I love peep sights, I prefer the bead front sight, but I use the blade also.
I put a cool set on a Mini 14 with the Mo Reaper front muzzle break combo sight and a rear peep it is fantastic.
Planning to change the factory sight on my Marlin 1895 45-70 soon too.

That looks like a Lyman 12R sight. Is that JC Higgins a Marlin? The tightening knob on the left is also a sight disc. Just swap them for a bigger peep.
