Anyone have a .17HMR pistol? Like It?

Thinking of getting a .17 HMR pistol for plinking, probably the Taurus. Good choice or should I just get a rifle instead. Mostly target shooting.

Been waiting for someone with a pistol to respond. Got ahead of myself and bought a Savage 17 rifle today. Last couple of weeks I saw 17HMR amo everywhere and today all the shelves were empty. Just my luck I guess.

I love my savage....It is my second favorite gun to shoot right behind my 10-22

You will like the Savage. Here's a 100yd target that I shot today with my Savage 93r17 BTVS. That 5 shot group is under 1".

17 ruger

i have a ruger single six hunter... it has both the 17 hmr and 17 mach two cylinders from factory.... i put a bushnel 2x6 scope on it and it worked great at the range bagged up.... hunting though it seemed hard to find game in it quickly.... i like and am used to iorn sights and will prob loose the scope...the ruger is a great pistol and i would recomend it to anyone... accurare , well built and fun to shoot... cheers...
