Winchester model 34

Found this at my favorite gun shop.
Was unable to find any info on this rifle.
Will really appreciate for any info about this rifle.

You'd think this would be an easy question, however I couldn't find anything in either of my Winchester books, or the Blue Book. I did find one for sale in Houston however for $600: http://houston.backpage.com/SportsEq...image=15844129 . It isn't a great picture, however it appears to be a newer-manufacture commemorative model 1894 with a brass receiver. Can you supply more pictures, caliber, length, etc?

I think it looks more like the Remington Model 34, not a Winchester. If that is the case it eats .22long, short and LR correct?

Remington Model 34 is a tube fed bolt action .22 caliber.

Agreed. It's a Remington. Remingtons were manufactured in Ilion. Winchesters were manufactured in New Haven.
If in decent condition it will still be a reliable and fun shooter.
