Question about old 22 long Rifle ammo

I came across a stash of older 22 lr ammo and I was wondering If it had a collector type value to it any info would be greatly appreciated.

Nah, it's just throwaway ammo, send it to me and I'll safely dispose of it . Just kidding, it does have a collectors value. Check on Ebay, you'll see many selling vintage ammo boxes like yours.

Yeah, that is definitly "collector" ammo---find a collector in your area and I am certain they will trade you some modern ammo to shoot!

The Winchester a is a fairly early box of ammo, probaly a 40s era box and it would be worth from 15.00 to 25.00 depending on who the buyer is. The Browning is also somewhat collectible, would not bring what the Winchester would, but surely will be worth more someday as a collectors item rather than as shooting ammo. Definitley do not shoot either one..

Cool find. I remember my Dad & my Grandfather both having massive (at least it looked massive to a 6-7 year old ) stocks of the nail drivers. Unless you need the space, I would just hang onto it. Makes cool paperweights or mantle decorations

I was up at my parents house a few weeks ago and found about 20 boxes of this in my Dad's old ammo can.

I remember the WESTERN Xpert from a long time ago. Seems that was what we shot in the 50's?????
