I just bought a basic 10/22 with synthetic stock, not a big fan of the feel. I'm thinking if ordering one, but,do i have to worry about barrel size to much. Like is itok to order one for a bull barrel size if I plan on changing barrel in the future?

Look into a Boyds if you want a wooden stock you can finish yourself. I'm going that route with my next 10/22.sigpic"Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are."

Still synthetic and they flex, effecting accuracy.
I'd say Boyds as-well.
Yes get a stock cut for the bull barrel if you plan on upgrading later. It will work with a standard barrel, it will just be uber free floated..Comment

Whats your budget and what are your long term plans for this 10/22??Comment

If you ever decide you might want to upgrade to a bull barrel, then a stock that will take .920 barrels will save you the trouble of changing out stocks later on.Comment

I have one on mine. regular sporter barrel. I love it. great feel, plenty sturdy. adds a little heft too as well as length. went a little non traditional with the ghillie green. I think it rocks!!
also tech sights. love them things!! makes it the perfect 22. I know people get all into modding the 10/22, but seriously, the thing shoots great just as is, and with a good aperture and stock, I think it's all it needs.
if I wanted a tack driving 22, I'd get a savage bolt

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.
