Mini mags are the "go to" ammo!

Try some Federal Auto Match if you can find any. A good value for a very nice round. Federal blue box bulk is another good choice. 22's *can* be picky eaters...I would try as many types/brands as you can find and shoot! That's half the fun!

I've never had any trouble with mine using any bulk provided I avoided Remington.
When available I get the best results with CCI, Federal Lightning (Champion) and the best bang for the buck, Federal Auto Match!

          FYI.
Do not bring that pistol to CA, unless you permanently attach a muzzle device or remove the threads on the barrel.

Factory stock (unmodified) Ruger 22/45 Lite is considered an assault weapon under CA laws. [PC 30515(a)(4)(A)]

I fed my P512MKIII 200 rounds of Minimags initially. After that, I've shot various rounds with 100% reliability- Federal bulk red and blue, Federal Automatch, Federal Lightning, Winchester Super X, Remington Target, Remington Thunderbolt, Remington Golden Bullet.

My 22/45 does well with CCI Blasers.

I've never had an issue with any 22lr ammo through my 22/45s.

i can honestly say that my 22/45 has had no real problems with any 22lr ammo. be careful though with bullets that are lead, make sure they are seated in the magazine properly because the first bullet might jam. just tap the mag before inserting if the bullet is lead.

I've run a couple thou of CCI Blazer bulk box (525 rounds/box?) through mine, and a couple hundred of either Remington, or maybe it was Winchester bulk box?

I haven't had a single failure or feed problem of any kind. I like the CCI Blazer because it's real accurate and clean.

Mine LOVES Mini-Mags, but has had feeding issues with the Federal Automatch stuff. Oddly enough, the Remington Golden Bullets have functioned flawlessly. Weird.

This is not my experience at all. I think of my Rugers as eatting everything. My 22/45 likes bulk ammo but shoots it best groups with the good stuff, same as my SR22 (although it did take a 100 or so to break it in).
