    look what papa still had

    locked up in his safe!!

    remington 121 fieldmaster.

my father in law had gotten this from his father in law. little bit of pitting on the receiver. some old grease and dirt inside. barrel had some dirt.

scope on it looked to be as old as the rifle, and not clear. by the barrel marks, it looks to be made in 1945. gonna get a nice scope for it.

took apart, cleaned, and it's smooth as a baby's bottom. barrel is shiny as a mirror. tomorrow is going to be FUUUUUUUNNNNNN!!!!!!

my 11 year old son is on cloud 9. somewhere, way on up high, so is his great grandfather

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

      Super cool...love those old pump-action .22's.
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
      Come on...what harm??

Great gun! I'm a big fan of pump .22's, especially old Remingtons. Have fun tomorrow!

Nice. Now you have an excuse to shoot with the kids more often.

I love old gallery guns. I have a Win. 1906 from my one of my grandpas. Whatever you do, do not let him take full possession of it until he's 30. I've seen a few young adults sell family heirlooms just because they were "only .22lrs".

Does your 121 have rifling? Mine is a smoothbore chambered and marked "for shotshells only". If yours happens to be a smoothbore, it is exceptionally rare and sought after by a small niche of collectors. If not, it's still an awesome gun.

I want one of those, they look like they would be a blast to shoot (I've never had a chance to shoot one). Have a good time with your son shooting!
