polish trainer 22lr for $397.00? Both in great condition. The Stevens i can get with a minimum for BS, the Wifama has to go to an FFL, + shipping.

For that amount of $$$ that puts you nearly in CZ territory. Suggest you look at the CZ 452 or CZ 455 American bolt action rifle. Probably the most accurate mass produced rifle on the market today at a reasonable price. Go to rimfirecentral.com in the CZ forum to read about them.

Sorry, it was more like 11 hours. The Stevens is in a pawn shop so i can haggle, the Wifama is out of state. I have been to rimfirecental and read about the CZs. Will look into the Savage also. Just trying to see which might be the best in this price range. I am semi-retired so i do log on at odd times so will keep this in mind in the future.
